What it does
It is a birth control that contains two types of hormones, Ethinyl estradiol 0.02 mg and drospirenone 3 mg. It also helps to manage symptoms of PMDD. The hormone combination in Drospirenone-Ethinyl Estradiol means it is also an effective acne fighter.

Side effects
Nausea, vomiting, headache, abnormal vaginal bleeding, breast tenderness. Some serious side effects are high blood pressure, heart attack, changes in skin color, gall bladder disease, blood clots, liver disease, depression and stroke.
Overdose
If someone has overdosed and has serious symptoms such as passing out or trouble breathing, call 911. Otherwise, call a poison control center right away. US residents can call their local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. Symptoms of overdose may include severe nausea and vomiting, sudden/unusual vaginal bleeding.
Who should not use this product?
If you are pregnant. If you have history of adrenal insufficiency, breast cancer or other estrogen- or progestin-sensitive cancer, hepatic tumors (benign or malignant) or disease, renal impairment, undiagnosed abnormal uterine bleeding; use of hepatitis C drugs. If you have a history of stroke, coronary artery disease, diabetes mellitus with vascular disease, blood clots, hypertension (uncontrolled), headaches with focal neurological symptoms or migraine headaches, thrombogenic valvular or rhythm diseases of the heart, women >35 years who smoke.
